Originally from the Ortenau region, she grew up in Freiburg and, via Portugal, Konstanz and Leipzig, finally came to Lörrach, where she has lived with her family since 1997. She is the mother of three children ranging in age from high school to university students. Christine Lehr was an exchange student in Atlanta, Georgia, USA in 1986 and 1987 and still maintains close contact with her host family from that time. She worked for over 10 years for Swiss International Airlines in Basel and Zurich, as well as for Darwin Airlines in Lugano. For over 5 years she was responsible for consulting in southern Germany for a student exchange organization. She has also organized numerous information events and trade fairs in close cooperation with schools in New Zealand, Australia, Canada, the USA and Germany. As the founder of the Austrian company Switch You Austria, she is the consultant for all customers in Austria. Born in Munich, she moved with her family to Mödling near Vienna as a child. Here she lives and works with her three children and her husband. As a student, she often went on language trips to England, Ireland, and Malta. Before and during her studies, she spent several months in the USA, Paris, and London. She loves traveling with her family and discovering new things.
